They both pretty much finished the bones and both wandering around. Niko eventually started shewing Eddies bone. I thought perhaps I should coax Eddie to go eat his left bone but went inside instead thinking Eddie would figure out. DOgs usually exchange left overs. I was the incednet fro the kitchen window. apparently Eddie had gotten too close to Niko and his bone and I looked up to see Eddie on his back with Niko on top doing the couth dueling. I went out and growled to stop from the door. Niko came up to me and Eddie scampered from Niko Yelping and limping. I'm pretty sure he was fake limping since sure recovered fast. It sounded horrible but no damage done just a few synaptic connections altered. No the less I displayed a bit of saddeness and dissappointment toward Niko and then we got together for a walk after givign them both a treat for which Eddie came up not quite as close as normal to Niko and me. So went for short walk to defused tensions which worked great. earlier we were sitting on the deck as was typing and all was fine. The next few time I have come out Eddie has left and staued at the gate threshold. I did lubricate the hinges on the creeking front door which reduced a drawn aout creeking to one pop. I think the cahnge has "upset" Eddie a bit and he has go off ot process the change. I think I'm beginning to see how he categorizes events.
