Eddies second Bark
This morning Eddie barked for the second time. Both dogs were hungry and Niko had finished his food, which was the un-eaten dinner from last night. Eddie still working on his gave one moderately pitched bark and then a short growl as Niko stood about ten feet away, he proceeded to finish his food.
Its a dark and stormy night right now and Eddie is out on the hill above the house. Niko, he and I spent the early evening inside when the above picture was taken. Eddie is becoming much more comfortable inside and for the first time hung out with Niko on the carpet behind me as I computered. When I let them out for dinner in the rain Eddie really wanted out and did not seem too interested in his food. After Niko finished his and we went for a short wet walk I put his food back out and he ate most of it. I think he is up on the hill having some quiet time as his brain cells re-orient and recover from the stress of pushing the envelope in the house earlier. His earlier stay inside commenced after I called him, and after a bit of coaxing and praise, when he walked up onto the deck past me into the house.

First time hanging on Blue bed, shortly after hanging out with Niko on carpet. Its almost as if Eddie in continually testing the waters to see what he can get away with or at least what is acceptable to his new family. He goes well with the Blue Bed.
1 Comments:
Nelda, Gabbs dog that looks like Pinny and Eddie also came back as American Eskimo with a touch of Weimaraner and Airedale
